Top 10 places to visit in Sihanoukville Province Cambodia

6:58 AM

Sihanoukville is a province in southwest Cambodia known for its beaches, tropical islands and the mangrove jungles of Ream National Park. Set around a deep-water port on a peninsula jutting into the Gulf of Thailand, the provincial capital of Sihanoukville is lined with palm-fringed beaches, seafood restaurants and late-night bars. Overlooking the capital is the hilltop Buddhist temple of Wat Leu.

1. Serendipty And Ochheuteal Beach
Ochheuteal Beach is the most popular and the longest beach of Sihanoukville. It is a 3 km stretch with the northern end as its busiest part which is also known as Serendipity Beach. It will take you only a short ride by tuk tuk or motorbike to reach Serendipity Beach so even if you`re not staying in a guesthouse there it`s easy to reach.

2. Otres Beach
To reach Otres Beach it takes you about 10 minutes to drive from Serendipity Beach. It is one of the most beautiful beaches in Sihanokville where you can escape from the crowds. A part in the middle of Otres Beach was cleared for development but this doesn't do any harm on the atmosphere because the northern and southern part are still as laid back as before.
